Used Car Week 2019. There are a variety of reasons to look forward to one of the premier annual events of the auto remarketing industry. This includes the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the National Remarketing Conference — as the auction, wholesale and auto remarketing industry gathers to see what’s in store for the next decade, — as well as the first-ever Used Car Week Leadership luncheon, featuring Jennifer Costabile, general director fleet marketing, rental sales and remarketing.

The first block of Used Car Week includes the Pre-Owned Con, Auto Fin Con and Repo Con, followed by the second block — the National Remarketing Conference — this year, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Pre-Owned Con: Presented by Dominion Dealer Solutions, this event will present dealers the tools they need to get more used metal rolling over the curb. From leveraging certified pre-owned programs to help cultivate relationships starting at the store website to the finance office to the service drive, Pre-Owned Con presents the intelligence retailers need to be have a more successful used-vehicle business.

Auto Fin Con: To help finance companies gather the best paper available for their portfolios, experts and industry leaders will be filling Auto Fin Con, presented by DRN and Allied Solutions, with discussions about the latest trends and tools to improve metrics with each passing vintage. Strategy involving fintech, investments and more will be shared to help finance company departments from marketing to underwriting.
- Auto Fin Con highlights include an auto finance panel led by. Anil Goyal, Executive Vice President, Operations, Black Book; a general session from Marguerite Watanabe, President of Connections Insights; and a panel led by Ernst & Young leaders, among others.
Repo Con: Collaboration to make repossessions and recovery more compliant, safe and successful is needed more than ever. During Repo Con, presented by Millennium Capital and Recovery, industry veterans will be on hand for conversations about how what might be considered old-school methods for collections and skip-tracing can be combined with new technology to mitigate risk.
- Jeffrey Marsh, Chief Managing Officer and Executive VP, Millennium Capital and Recovery, will speak on “Optimizing both Performance & Compliance in 2020.” A panel discussion of recovery management leaders will focus on the exploration of standardization, compliance and new tech. The leader of masterQueue/Intellaegis, John Lewis, Founder and CEO, will also be presenting to the entire Repo Con audience, as well.
The National Remarketing Conference: Presented by SmartAuction, at its core, thrives on providing a forum of analysis, education and discussion that moves the wholesale auto industry forward. NRC asks the tough questions and examine the most pressing business developments that impact vehicle consignors, brick-and-mortar auto auctions, online auctions, technology/service providers and all stakeholders in the remarketing industry.
